This Survey will take approximately 7 minutes to complete. If you have more then one child, you may complete one survey per child. Each survey submission will be awarded 1 entry into our Grand Prize Draw! Unless we have a record of your child's attendance to one of our programs, winners will be asked to provide identification to validate their submission.

- I believe children should achieve a strong understanding of all subjects.
- I believe children should focus on subject that connect with their individual personality, interests, and natural talent, and spend less time on the subjects they lack interest in.

Which best describes your attitude towards a Montessori system of education?*
- I feel this system is of great benefit to a child’s ability to make decisions and gain confidence.
- I feel this system does not provide enough structure and does not adequately prepare children for High School.

Which best describes your attitude towards the Finland school system?*
- The attitude of less is more appeals to me. I like the idea that children spend much less time in a classroom, receive no homework, and have a huge role to play in their learning journey.
- I don’t believe this system would work for my child as not enough instruction is offered and I would be worried that my child would fall behind and lack adequate knowledge in High School.
- I don’t know enough about the Finland school system to comment.

Which statement applies to you the most*
- Math and English are the most important subjects for my child to learn in elementary school. With a strong base in Math and English, all other subjects can be learned later in life.
- Considering global employment trends, Science and Technology are the most important subjects for my child to connect with by the end of elementary school. A strong base in Science and Technology will offer the best foundation for success later in life.
- The Arts are often overlooked, but I believe strongly that they are as important as any other subject. I would be content if my child’s focus in elementary school was on Art, Music, or Dance, even at the expense of other subjects.
Life skills are increasingly being addressed in schools as they are believed to form the core foundation for life long success. Which statement best describes your attitude.*
- If by grade 8, my child has gained strong emotional control, has strong communication skills, can think critically, can makes decisions with confidence, can reflect on decisions, and is a generally joyful person, the amount of knowledge gained in specific subjects is not very important.
- Getting good grades is extremely important later in life, so I would not want much time dedicated to life skills at the expense of gaining knowledge, which my child will need later in High School and University. Life skills will come naturally and can be taught mostly at home.

- Publicly funded schools offer a diverse environment, excellent facilities, and strong government support. I would prefer to send my child to a publicly funded school.
