Mega Motion Workshops

For those young makers dreaming of building a better future…

Is your child is a maker at heart and is at least 6 years of age? We have exciting building workshops perfect for them.

We continue to carefully craft our weekly programs and are excited to offer weekly workshops in the new year on Wednesdays and Thursdays.  The new semester begins Wednesday, September 19th.

Wednesday Workshops will be from 5:15pm to 6:45pm.

Thursday Workshops will be from 4:45pm to 6:15pm.

What to expect?

After years of private instruction, camp workshops, and most recently weekly workshops during after school, we can attest to the fun, excitement, and meaningful learning that this unique program offers.  The workshops are impressing parents and exciting kids.  Kids are enjoying their time and are learning in a way they don’t get a chance to often enough, with enthusiasm.  Their building skills are noticeably improving, and they are beginning to unlock stronger decision making and problem solving skills.  Fine motor skills are at play as children learn the value of care and planning.

Workshops will include a short lesson, a demonstration, the build, and a challenge once their project is complete.  Students get to keep what they build.

Our program offers young makers an opportunity to advance through levels of difficulty from Level A to Level G as they complete workshops, build knowledge, and master skills.  Once a student completes Level G, they can become an apprentice and train to become an instructor.

Workshops will be supervised by a senior instructor and possibly an additional junior instructor.  Class sizes will be limited to 4 students.

The daily cost of the program is $35.  We have moved away from sessions to offer families more flexibility, however we do encourage weekly attendance.  Registration will be on a first come first serve basis.
